Another Benefit of Visiting the Coast
Yesterday we went back to the coast to collect along the ocean and try to find a few more specimens of what is likely an undescribed species. We were successful on both endeavors. Another benefit was that we passed the fruit vendors on the way down the mountain. These "baby bananas" cost $6,oo reais or about $3.50 US.

Those bananas look yummy! I bet the fruit down there is delicious. Fruit is super expensive right now in the grocery store - can't wait till spring! :)
