Saturday at Paranaguá

Today we traveled to the coastal city of Paranaguá, about an hour's drive from Curitiba. The drive descends 3,000 feet and is very scenic. The "Sierra Express" that wakes us every morning follows this same route and is apparently even more scenic. The beach we visited is on the Itiberê River, which empties into the Atlantic Ocean. We'll have to save the ocean for another trip!
